Introduction:
He began his life of crime at the age of 9.  By the time he was 25, he had spent 10 years locked up behind
bars, including 3 trips to prison.  He gave his life to Christ March 16,1969 while serving what would be his last
sentence in El Reno Federal Reformatory in Oklahoma.  He received a Presidential Pardon from Gerald R.
Ford in 1975 and has been an Evangelist for over 32 years.  Richard Coss continues to travel around the
United States spreading the word of God to prisons, churches, youth groups, jails and more.

OUR PURPOSE
To share the good news among the
motorcycling community. People of all walks
businessmen and women, laborers. You name
it, they all ride motorcycles. Motorcyclists
have a unique bond and this bond gives our
ministry an open door to come in and share
Jesus' love for them. Whether it be at a
motorcycle rally or just pulling into a gas
station, the comaraderie  is there. The Holy
Spirit uses this connection to glorify God's
kingdom. To share the good news to those
who are incarcerated, whether it be a young
ten year old boy or girl, or an eighty year old
man or woman. Matthew 25:36 states, "I was
in prison and you came to visit me". God loves
these people, and he wants them to know that.
This ministry makes an effort to share Jesus'
love inside the walls of the prisons that society
has built to incarcerate people, as well as the
prisons we build to imprison ourselves.

                                                  January Newsletter, 2012

Hello,

To all of our friends we say to you, "Happy and Blessed New Year". I know you are wondering about
Phyllis and her neck operation. Two growths were removed and everything came back negative for cancer.
PTL. Thank you for remembering her in your prayers.
We gave out 85 pairs of wool blend socks with a candy cane inside of them to the death row inmates in
Angola, LA. This was our third year for the socks. Big, big hit. A lot of the inmates ask for prayer and we were
able to minister and pray with several. Ken Lambert played his guitar and sang to the inmates on each cell
block. We then went to the "Prison Hospital Hospice Ministry" and prayed with the men there. Most of who are
dying but saved and trusting Jesus and ready to go home. Born again inmates take care of all the men in the
hospital. It really is a ministry. An older dying black man asked Brother Ken to sing, " He's Got The Whole
World In His Hands". Ken sat on his bed and sang the song and the old man raised his hands and sang along
with tears in his eyes. There were tears in Ken and my eyes as well.
Weekend of December 16-18 we were off to St. Charles County Jail in St. Charles, MO. Bro Steve Carroll
went with me and led  the Christmas music. He is an awesome pianist and vocalist. The inmates love him. We
ministered to 500 men and women in 10 services. Our 9th year and as always God moved in a mighty way.
We saw 85 men and women pray to recieve Christ as their Lord and 50 other decisions were made. All of the
inmates recieved a bag of "goodies" and a Bible. Awesome!
We need to start getting ready for our Red River Memorial Day Bike Rally. Last year we gave away 3200
Biker Bibles and we would like to do the same this year as God provides. The Biker Bibles are $2.50 each. We
would like to have everything paid for before May arrives as we did last year.
I will be having my last eye surgery January 10th. So I will be recuperating most of the month. The left
side of my face will be black and blue for several weeks and I will be wearing sunglasses most of that time.
We just can not thank you enough for your support. We were able to minister to a lot of needs. Mailed out
books, bibles and study material to inmates. Traveled up and down the highway with "The Good Times"
because of you. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I will speaking at First Baptist Church, Gulf Shores,January 8th, two morning services. Foley City Jail with
Brother Ken on the 9th and 30th.

                                                                      We love you much,
                                                                      Richard and Phyllis
